About Judith beck
Judith Beck has 15 hectares of vineyards in Gols, Burgenland Austria. Since 2007 it’s been farmed Biodynamically. Her father ran the estate whilst she worked in France and Chile at big estates like Errazuriz. On returning she took over the reins for good, and went down the path of natural winemaking. The soils in the vineyards are alive and healthy and grasses are encouraged to grow between the rows of vines. Biodynamic principles are adhered to and there is minimal intervention in the winery, the results speak for themselves and Judith’s wines are a favourite at Wine Fiend for their versatility and moreish nature.
Tasting Notes
Dark cherry and blackberry, but of natural funk. Soft tannins and a spicy finish makes this a highly recommended Blaüfrankish, especially if you have never tried the grape before and you love your natural wines.
