About Tora Albalá
Found in Montilla-Moriles in the hills south of Cordoba the bodega has its origins as far back as 1844. Like neighbouring Jerez, soils are white chalky albarizas. PX grapes are well accustomed to the harsh climate and soils in this part of Spain. The process of drying the grapes in the hot sun before pressing gives the wine the unctuous and decadent character that PX lovers crave.
Raisins, figs and honey on the nose. You just know this is going to be a decadent and luscious wine. Silky and rich on the palate with all those beautiful raisin and fig notes coming through...bliss!
