About Ciello
The estate is owned by the Vesco family who took over ownership of the one-hundred-hectare site around 10 years ago. They modernised the winery and made sure that the vineyard was certified organic as soon as was possible. The vineyards are all situated between 150-300 meters above sea level allowing for a gentler ripening period in the hot Sicilian climate. The results are more elegant wines that express the land. The wines of Ciello are an excellent introduction to natural wines at a fantastic price.
Tasting Notes
Rich, pithy fruit character, savoury herbs, ginger and spices. A great little glass of orange and a fantastic price for this often expensive style. Absolutely banging this one and from a producer we know you all love!
