About Quinta do Romeu
Quinta do Romeu is produced by Sociedade Clemente Menéres Lda, a family company founded in 1902. Established since 1874, it produces wine, olive oil and cork at Quinta do Romeu, in the municipality of Bragança.In the 25 hectares of vineyard, at an average altitude of 320 metres, certified organic agriculture has been used since 1997. Westerlies is a collaboration with Quinta do Romeu and Xisto wines. The idea was to produce a wine which wasn't over-extracted to show the best of the fruit.
Tasting Notes
Young and intense. Profile leans towards red fruits with a floral touch. Very smooth finish, balanced fresh acidity and soft tannins. A wonderfully approachable wine from an iconic DOC.
