About Portales Pérez
Portales Pérez is a family run bodega in the historic centre of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. It was founded in 1997 my María José Portales after having operated as an almacenista for decades.
Tasting Notes
Chestnut in colour, toasted aromas of almonds, dried fruits and peel. On the palate it is enveloping, silky, elegant and with a very long finish.
One last note, leave your pre-conceptions at the door regarding sherry, it's one of the most versatile and exciting wines you can drink. This sherry should be on everybody's list of top wines 12 months of the year...beautiful.
