About Clos Roussely
Located in the heart of Ange, a village in the Loire, Le Clos Roussely is an outbuilding of the old 18th Century castle. The 8 hectares that make up the vineyard holdings of Clos Roussely are worked by Vincent Roussely who took it over from his father Jean Claude in 2001. Since 2007 the vineyards have been managed organically and some of the vines are over 80 years old. Much of the work in the vineyards is by horse and plough with harvesting done mainly by hand.
Strawberry and cherry with a little spice on the nose. Soft tannin and a lovely finish make for an enticing wine from this talented Loire producer.
