2 x Gonzalo Grijalba, Gran Cerdo Blanco (Viura blend, natural, Spain) - Gluggable natural wine made from, mainly, Viura. Soft orchard fruit and medium bodied, it’s fresh and fun.
2 x Carte Blanche Picpoul de Pinet (Picpoul, Organic, France) - Super fresh nose of gooseberry, greengage and blossom. Lively palate with bags of fresh acidity and a slight saline finish.
2 x Ciello, Bianco (Catarratto, Natural, Sicily) - Bags of tropical fruits, lemon and a nice amount of body. Grapefruit on the palate keeping it fresh but, as mentioned, nicely balanced with a bit of weight
2 x Vignerons d'Estezargues, Les Galet (Grenache blend, natural, France) - Blueberry, blackberry, liquorice, pepper and nutmeg. Lots of body and a backbone of acidity to freshen up a big wine. It’s un-oaked so all about the fruit.
2 x Bacchus Rosso Piceno Ciu Ciu (Montepulciano blend, organic, Italy) - Red cherry, raspberry and a nose full of morello cherry. All the fruit follows through on the palate with all the promise of that fresh juiciness delivering in spades.
2 x Gonzalo Grijalba, Gran Cerdo Tinto (Tempranillo, natural, Spain) - Raspberry and dark berries with a floral note of violets give way to something a little more earthy. Its Tempranillo with no oak so it sings of the variety, no vanilla here.
