Fresh tropical fruit and lemon are the first things you’ll come across on the nose and on the palate, there's as little of that natural funk on the nose as well. This little beauty has got body, with a generous amount of acidity to keep things bright and fresh. It’s natural and unfiltered so expect some haziness… But that’s absolutely normal and that haze means more flavour. (Natural)
Cora Blanco Loxarel - Intensely aromatic wine with an abundance of aromas giving you a big kiss on your nose, a bit of lychee, ripe grape (yes sometimes wine smells like grapes) and a light floral note. It really is a beguiling wine. You almost expect it to be off dry, but this is dry and mineral on the palate. You would normally look to pay much more for this much complexity. (Biodynamic)
Antica Enotria, Bianco - Citrus and slight tropical nose and a crisp fresh acidity. Straw yellow in colour the Fiano and the Falanghina are blended 50:50, the balance is perfect with the Fiano adding a little body and the Falanghina adding some punchy freshness. (Organic)
Vina Olmaza Tinto Carbonica - Raspberry and plums with some floral notes, think violets, there is some sweet spice as well. They use Carbonic Maceration which creates a lighter less tannic red wine, the result is a fresher style of Rioja that is all about the berry. (Organic)
Hacienda Grimon Crianza - 100% Tempranillo from Rioja. Blackberry, black plum, vanilla and pepper straight from the glass, this is unmistakably Rioja, though more modern in style, you can taste the oak but it doesn't overwhelm the purity of the fruit. (Organic)
Chateau Ollieux-Romanis Lo Petit Fantet d'Hippolyte Rouge - Carbonic Maceration makes this an intriguing style of red. Even though it’s got plenty of body there’s a freshness about the wine that makes it very glugable. Lots of dark fruits and also that garigue herb nose of thyme and rosemary. (Natural)
