About Domaine Albert Mann
Certified organic in 2000, the estate is also biodynamic. The two brothers that run the 21 acres are Maurice and Jacky Barthelme, and the Domaine is named after Maurice’s father-in-law Albert Man, who was pivotal in shaping the sustainable nature of the wines. Both families have been making wines since at least the 17th century, and their desire is to produce wines of exceptional quality that have a sense of place.
Apple, peach and honey just for starters, then it's white flower and mild ginger spice. Lovely freshness really balances the richer texture. Definitely a 'food glorious food' wine.
