About Bodegas Fulcro
Manuel Moldes is the person behind the Fulcro winery. His vineyard is located in the Salnés subzone facing the sea, on granitic sandy soil. His philosophy to respect the grape and the environment as much as possible has led him to an eco-friendly viticulture with very little technology in the winery. His Finca a Pedreira Albarino ferments in stainless steel tanks and rests on its lees for 5 months without carrying out any malolactic fermentation. This is a process where malic acid, the kind you find in apples, converts to Lactic acid, the kind you find in milk.
Tasting Notes
Mouth-watering bright acidity, peach and grapefruit are the first things that spring to mind. This is a true Albarino, with that precise style that leaves you in no doubt where this wine is from and what it’s made of. Great finish too, goes on for quite some time and leaves you wondering why you don’t live in Galicia. Impressive stuff.
