About Clos Henri
Bought by the Bourgeois wine family, very well known in Sancerre, in 2001. The vineyards cover an area of around 92 hectares with varying soil types, including gravels and clays, which go to help the remarkably elegant Pinot Noirs and Sauvignons made here. Committed to maintaining the bio-diversity of the farm, the family have planted various crops to contribute to the diversity of the land they farm.
Balanced and expressive, elderflower and citrus blossom with gunflint minerality. Textural, with zingy acidity and a flinty finish. A fresh wine that bridges new world concentration with old world elegance.
