About Ciu Ciu
The winery is located in the Rosso Piceno Superiore production area in the heart of the Piceno hills. The winery began its life in 1970 with Natalino Bartolomei and his wife Anna. Now the two sons Massimiliano and Walter are in charge and continue their parents strong tradition of quality and tradition. Their 130 hectares are all organically farmed. The tenet of the sons is ‘wine is made in the vineyard not the cellar.’ They are also strong believers in the need for their wines to be Vegan.
A clear pale-lemon with green hues, the nose displays enticing aromas of honeysuckle, peach and lychee. On the palate, medium-bodied with a well balanced acidity. The finish is fresh with a touch of spice. Try with spicy shrimps, tagliatelle with white truffle or cuttlefish with chick peas.
