About Strehn
The currents Strehn family’s great grandfather, Carl Strehn, founded a small winery for himself and his friends, never more than a private indulgence. After World War 2 his son Joe Strehn took over the winery and expanded the operation, although he had to use his newly purchased tractor as a taxi to earn extra money to purchase more land. The same family continues on the vineyard today with 45 hectares of vines in Mittel Burgenland and produce exceptional wines in a sustainable way. They are practicing organic and waiting for certification.
Tasting Notes
Clean and aromatic nose; stone fruit, lime, floral notes, melon. Slightly rounded, creamy element to the palate, which is fragrant, grapey and peachy with white flowers. Long finish.
