About Vigna Lenuzza
A family run company on the eastern border of Italy, in the centre of the famous wine region of Colli Orientali. The vineyards are cooled by a dry wind that persists across the valley, which is perfect for the development and ripening of aromatic grapes. The Lenuzza family consist of husband and wife team Daniele (winemaker) and Tanika-Paris, (business mind) and Gianpaolo (Dad and all-round big-hearted family man). In 2014 Daniele went down the organic path and hasn’t looked back since. The winery is a blend of traditional care for the environment and the land with a modern, clean winery. The wines are very much of their place and it’s a testament to the skills and passion of this hugely enthusiastic family team.
Very light pink colour in the glass, very delicate. A beautiful nose of apple and delicate red fruit with lovely bright citrus flavours and approaching a weightier body for a Pinot Grigio. The wine has had 15% Oak which gives it texture, while the 85% in stainless steel has kept the delicate aromatics alive and kicking. This is how Pinot Grigio should taste.
